Swift GA L4-1298cc 1.3L SOHC MFI (2001)
Install ABS sensor pipe to suspension arm and connect coupler of ABS wheel speed sensor.
8. Install wheel and tighten wheel nuts to specified torque.
9. Lower hoist.
10. Tighten control rod outside nut and inside nut to specified torque.
When tightening them, it is the most desirable to have vehicle off hoist and in non-loaded state.
Also, when tightening inside nut, align line (A) stamped on body with such stamped line on washer as confirmed before removal or align match
marks if marked.
Tightening Torque (c): 80 Nm (8.0 kg-m, 58.0 ft. lbs.)
11. Tighten suspension arm front nut and rear nut to specified torque. It is desirable to have vehicle off hoist and in non-loaded state when tightening
them.
Tightening Torque
(d): 60 Nm (6.0 kg-m, 43.5 ft. lbs.)
(e): 40 Nm (4.0 kg-m, 29.0 ft. lbs.)
12. After tightening suspension arm front nut, check to make sure that washer as shown is not tilted.
13. Check rear toe and adjust it as necessary.
