Refueling Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

Refuel Vapor Control Valve

1. Check refuel vapor control valve for damage.
2. Apply 1.3 kPa (10 mmHg) vacuum to nozzle "A" by using vacuum pump gauge and check that vacuum is maintained at that level (there is no

leakage).
If vacuum leaks, replace.

3. Put refuel vapor control valve in kerosene and check that float moves smoothly to contact valve seat.

If found malfunctioning, replace.
