REPLACEMENT ECMs ARE SHIPPED BLANK AND MUST BE PROGRAMMED BEFORE OPERATION

CONDITION:
After installation of ECM the engine cranks but will not start if ECM is not programmed.
CAUSE:
New ECMs are shipped blank.
CORRECTION:
It is required to use the Suzuki Diagnostic System (SDS) Tool to program the blank ECM. See below for requirements and procedure. This procedure is
unique and to be used for blank ECM installation. Removal and replacement (R&R) warranty time listed in the warranty flat rate manual already includes
programming time.
