SUBJECT: REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) DOES NOT WORK
MODEL(S): VERONA
YEAR: 2004~2005
CONDITION: When the button on the key transmitter is pushed to unlock or lock the vehicle, the light on the key transmitter illuminates but the vehicle
doors do not lock or unlock.
CAUSE: RKE not synchronized.
CORRECTION: Please perform the attached procedure before replacing any parts.

RKE Re-Synchronization Procedure
1. To synchronize the key transmitter push and hold the key and trunk buttons at the same time.
2. The light on key transmitter will flash for approximately 10 seconds.
3. When the light stops flashing let go of the buttons.
4. The light will then be ON solid.
