To remove the fuel pump access cover simply lift on the indicated tab. The cover is held on by a non vulcanizing adhesive.

Disconnect the two electrical connectors. Disconnect the two fuel lines. (Refer to Technical Service Bulletin Verona IS 04 12174 for the fuel line
removal). Push the fuel lines and connector aside and remove the fuel pump plate by rotating it counter clockwise until the tabs are clear and pump
assembly pops up.
