Carefully lift the Fuel Pump Assembly out of the tank. Lift at a slight angle to allow the float arm and pick up tube to clear the opening. DO NOT
BREAK THE PICK UP TUBE! Breaking off the pick up tube will affect engine performance at lower fuel levels. If the tube is broken off or
damaged the pump assembly will have to be replaced.

With the pump assembly removed disconnect the three connectors. There are two white connectors and one black connector (see illustration). The
black connector connects to the fuel pump. This black connector may be difficult to remove due to the fuel hose pressing against it. Carefully push
the fuel hose aside while pulling the connector up.
