Knock Sensor Removal And Installation
Knock Sensor Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the VIS vacuum tank. Refer to "VIS Vacuum Tank". See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Variable Induction
System/Vacuum Reservoir/Service and Repair
3. Remove the wiring harness from the wiring support bracket.
4. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring harness connector.
5. Remove the knock sensor.
Knock Sensor Installation
1. Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
