NOISE FROM THE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHINGS

CONDITION:
Front stabilizer bar bushing may make a rubbing, crunching, or squeaking noise especially in cold weather and after rain while driving over speed bumps
at slow speed.

CAUSE:
A lack of lubrication between the stabilizer bar bushing and the stabilizer bar.

CORRECTION:
To address the above condition a new stabilizer bar bushing is now available with grooves in the stabilizer bar contact area to hold grease. Replace the
bushing of the affected vehicle with the part number listed below. Follow the appropriate Service Manual procedure. Be sure to apply plenty of grease to
the inside of the bushing before installation. Replacement of the stabilizer bar is not necessary nor recommended.
