CONDITION:

Some customers may comment that one or both of the front door windows tips forward when closing.

CAUSE:

The weather-strip run channel bracket inside the door may be pinching the run channel weather-strip binding the glass as it slides in the channel.

CORRECTION:

Relieve the front door window glass run channel weather-strip(s) as shown in this bulletin.

The picture shows the area on the weather-strip run channel bracket that is pinching the glass run channel weatherstrip.

REPAIR PROCEDURES

1.

Roll down the window to the full down position.

2.

Carefully remove the door panel and plastic water splash shield.

3.

Partially remove the front part of the run channel weather-strip from the run channel bracket up to about the front bend in the door window frame.

NOTE:

It is not necessary to remove the weather-strip completely.
