Suzuki Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

1) Install tie-rod end lock nut and tie rod end to tie-rod. Tighten lock nut to mark on tie-rod thread.
2) Install tie-rod end to knuckle. Tighten new tie-rod end nut to specified torque.

Tightening Torque (a): 43 Nm (4.3 kg-m, 41.5 ft. lbs.) 

NOTE:  Support and push tie-rod end to upper side with jack and tighten nut so as ball stud not to be rotated.

3) After installing wheels, lower vehicle and tighten wheel nuts to specified torque.

Tightening Torque (b): 95 Nm (9.5 kg-m, 69.0 ft. lbs.) 

4) Check that proper amount of toe-in is obtained. 
5) After confirming proper amount of toe-in, tighten tie-rod end lock nut to specified torque.

Tightening Torque (c): 65 Nm (6.5 kg-m, 47.0 ft. lbs.)
