14.

Apply power steering fluid to the sliding surface of the pump cover and rotor.

15.

Align the dowel pins to the holes of the cover plate as shown and install the pump cover to the pump body.

16.

Gradually tighten pump cover bolts to specified torque.

NOTE:

After installing the pump cover, make sure that the shaft can be turned by hand.

Tightening Torque
(a): 20.0 lb-ft (2.8 kg-m, 28 N.m)

17.

Apply power steering fluid to the 0-ring of the terminal set.

18.

Install 0-ring to the terminal set.

19.

Install the terminal set to the pump body.

Tightening Torque
(b): 20.0 lb-ft (2.8 kg-m, 28 N.m)
