4. Install rotor to shaft facing its splined part chamfered side up (to cover).

5. Apply power steering fluid to sliding surface of cam ring.
6. Install cam ring to pump body, directing "7A" marked side of cam ring toward side plate (facing down).

7. Apply specified fluid to each vane and install it to rotor with its R part faced outward as shown.

8. Install snap ring to shaft.
