9. Remove knuckle oil seal, dust cover and wheel spindle.

INSPECTION

Inspect for cracks, deformation or damage.

INSTALLATION

Reverse removal sequence to install knuckle, wheel spindle and oil seal.

NOTE:

When installing wheel spindle to knuckle, coat their mating surfaces with sealant.

"A": Sealant 99000-31110 or equivalent.

Also, fill recess in wheel spindle with about 10 g lithium grease.

"B": Grease 99000-25010 or equivalent.

1. Tighten wheel spindle nut to specified torque.

Tightening Torque (a): 50 Nm (36.5 ft. lbs.) 

2. Press-fitting knuckle oil seal Drive in knuckle oil seal until its end contacts stepped surface of knuckle using special tools.
