CONDITION:
Wet carpet in the front floor area on the driver or passenger side of the vehicle. This will usually happen during a significant rain storm.
CAUSE:
This can be caused by inadequate coverage of body sealant as applied at the strut tower allowing water to pass from the top of the strut tower into the
cabin.
CORRECTION:
Please follow the instructions below to verify the water intrusion is due to the lack of sealant on the strut tower described below and repair if necessary.
If the water intrusion is not from the strut tower this bulletin does not apply further investigation is necessary.
