BCM REPLACEMENT PRECAUTIONS

XL7 (JC636)

CONDITION:
If the BCM connectors are not installed in the correct order damage to the BCM may occur. Other systems controlled by the BCM may also become
inoperative or intermittent.

APPROPRIATE ACTION:
Disconnect the battery negative terminal before removing any BCM connectors. First disconnect all BCM connectors except the light blue C-3 ground
connector. Then disconnect the light blue C-3 ground connector last. When installing the BCM connect all connectors before the light blue C-3 ground
connector. Reconnect the battery negative terminal after all connectors to the BCM are connected.
