Steering Gear Boot Replacement - Off Vehicle

J 22610 Keystone Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rack and pinion outer tie rods. 
2. Remove the power steering gear. 
3. Completely remove the steering linkage inner tie rod nuts.

4. Remove the steering gear clamp from the steering gear boot.

5. Cut, remove, and discard the steering gear clamp (1).
