INCORRECT FUEL SENDER HARNESS CONNECTOR PLUGS 
(EMISSIONS CAMPAIGN 99-NF)

ALL 2008 VEHICLES MANUFACTURED BEFORE SEPT. 18, 2007

CONDITION:
On certain 2008 model year XL7 vehicles, there are two unused pin cavities within the fuel sender wiring harness connector. To prevent moisture from
entering the harness connector, the unused pin cavities are filled with a plug. The plug used in these cavities may be under-size and allow moisture to
enter the harness connector.

CORRECTION:

Replace the two plugs in the fuel sender wiring harness connector per procedure below. If corrosion is found in the connector terminals, replace the
corroded terminals. See above.
