Parking Brake Lever: Adjustments
NOTE: Before adjusting the parking brake lever travel, make sure that the rear brake shoe clearance has been adjusted. See: Drum Brake System/Brake
Shoe/Testing and Inspection
1. Remove the console box.
Adjust Parking Brake Lever Travel
2. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting nut until the lever travel is correct.

Parking brake lever travel at 196 N (20 kg. 44 lbs.) 7 - 9 clicks.
3. Tighten the lock nut.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 inch lbs.)
4. Install the console box.
