Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Front
Front Suspension / Stabilizer Bar
REMOVAL
1. Remove the front wheels.
NOTE: When installing the front wheels, tighten them to 110 Nm (83 ft. lbs.).
2. Remove the two nuts and disconnect the stabilizer bar links from the lower suspension arm, then
NOTE:

When installing the links, tighten the nuts to 69 Nm (51 ft. lbs.).

If the ball joint stud turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
3. Remove the stabilizer bar after performing the following.
a. Remove the two bolts, nuts and stabilizer bar with the bushings and brackets.
NOTE: When installing the stabilizer bar, tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
