EGR System Components & Tightening
b. Install the EGR valve with the pipes to the intake chamber. Torque the A bolts to 29 Nm (22 ft lb), and the B bolts to 18 Nm (13 ft lb).
c. (California and Canada Models only) Connect the two water by-pass hoses to the EGR valve, then install the air intake chamber stay.
d. Connect the EGR hoses to the air pipe and EGR vacuum modulator. For California models, connect the EGR gas temperature sensor.
Cold Start Injector Connector
e. Connect the cold start injector tube with new gasket and union bole, then torque bolt to 18 Nm (13 ft lb).

Connect the vacuum hose to the gas filter, then connect the cold start injector connector.
No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
g. Install the No. 5 water by-pass hose to the water by pass hose.
No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
h. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose to the union of intake manifold.
i.
Connect the PCV hose to the union.
j.
Connect the vacuum and fuel hoses to the pressure regulator.
k. Connect the canister vacuum hose to the throttle body.
