Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
Parking Brake Cable Assembly No. 3

REPLACEMENT 

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

a. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the rear disc brake caliper assembly LH.

HINT:  Do not disconnect the flexible hose from the brake caliper assembly LH.

3. REMOVE REAR DISC
4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN TENSION SPRING
5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT COMPRESSION SPRING
6. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT LH
7. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE
8. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
9.  REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER 

10. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH NO.1 
11. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH NO.2
12. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY REAR
13. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY NO.3

a. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the parking brake cable assembly No.3 from the backing plate.
