Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
(From August, 2004)
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSY
2. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER INLET HOSE A
3. REMOVE WATER OUTLET PIPE NO.1
a. Remove the 4 wire harness clamps.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and the water outlet pipe.
4. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR
a. Disconnect the 2 knock sensor connectors.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 knock sensors.
