Ball Joint: Specifications

Front suspension 

Upper Ball Joints:
Check that there is no looseness on the ball joint by shaking the upper arm up and down by hand.

Lower Ball Joints:
Hub nuts up and down force ........................................................................................................................................................... 294 N (30 kgf, 66 lbs.)
Maximum Deflection  ........................................................................................................................................................................  0.5 mm (0.020 inch)

Upper arm ball joint turning torque ...................................................................................................................  4.5 Nm (46 kgf-cm, 40 inch lbs.) or less 
Lower arm ball joint turning torque ...................................................................................................................  3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 inch lbs.) or less 
Stabilizer link ball joint turning torque ...............................................................................................................  2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18 inch lbs.) or less

Lower ball joint attachment x steering knuckle arm ......................................................................................................  160 Nm (1,630 kgf-cm, 118 ft. lbs.)
