3VZ-E ENGINE (VN): ECU MODIFICATION

A modified Electronic Control Computer (ECU) for 1988 and early production 1989 V-6 Trucks and 4 Runners, is now in production. This modified
ECU will provide:

-

Smoother acceleration during cold engine operation.

-

Reduced engine ping under light to moderate engine loads.

-

Improved startability after a hot dead soak of 3 to 5 hours.

This modification is applicable to all 1988 and early production 1989 model V6 trucks and 4 Runners.
