NOTE: If the injectors do not rotate smoothly, the O-rings are probably incorrectly installed. Replace the O-rings.

4. Carefully check for proper alignment of the injectors to prevent fuel leaks.

5. Place six new insulators and the four spacers in position on the intake manifold.

6. Carefully install the right hand Fuel Rail with the injectors on the intake manifold.
7. Start the two mounting nuts, but do not tighten them. Rotate each injector to ensure that there is no binding of the sealing parts.

8. Carefully install the left hand Fuel Rail with the injectors on the intake manifold.
9. Start the two mounting nuts but do not tighten. Rotate each injector to ensure that there is no binding of the sealing parts.

10. If the injectors do not rotate smoothly, recheck the O-rings for correct installation.
11. Position all of the injector connector sockets facing up.
12. Torque all four mounting nuts to 9 ft.lbs. (13 N-m).
13. Install the No.2 fuel pipe with four new gaskets.  If using copper plated gaskets, torque the two union bolts to 22 ft.lbs. (29 N-m).  If using tin

plated gaskets, torque the two union bolts to 25 ft.lbs (34 N-m).

14. Install the No.3 fuel pipe with four new gaskets.  If using copper plated gaskets, torque the two union bolts to 22 ft.lbs. (29 N-m).  If using tin

plated gaskets, torque the two union bolts to 25 ft.lbs (34 N-m).
