a. Using the 09633-00020 Special Service Tool (SST), remove the tube. 
b. Remove the union seat from the rack housing and control valve housing.

2. Using the 09612-00012 SST and two bolts, secure the power steering gear assembly in a vise, as shown in the illustration. For reference, use the

90105-10346 SST for the bolt, and the 90170-10198 SST for the nut.

NOTE: Use two of the same type of SST.

3. Remove the right And left hand tie rod ends and lock nuts after placing matchmarks on the tie rod end and rack end.
4. Remove the right and left hand clips, rack boots and clamps

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the boot.

Mark the right and left hand boots.

5. Remove the right and left hand rack ends and claw washers by performing the following.
