2. Using a sharp knife add relief cuts to the rear corners of the door trim armrest opening for the switch base as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE

Be careful NOT to cut all the way to the corner of the armrest opening. This will cause a poor appearance if the slit is visible when the switch base is
installed.

3. Reinstall the door trim switch base and ensure a proper fit.
