Remove and discard the center section of the rear isolator gasket in between the two pieces of masking tape applied in step 3.

Using the palm of your hand, gently lift up the rear portion of the spoiler and insert the flat side of the plastic pry tool (P/N
00002-06001-01) between the spoiler and the trunk lid to create a gap no larger than 6 mm (0.24 in.).
