Repair Procedure

This TSB consists of 2 repair procedures. Refer to the appropriate procedure as follows:

Repair Procedure I: 
Repair of Rear Isolator Gasket Coming Off of Currently Installed Spoiler. For the condition of the rear isolator gasket coming off of a currently mounted
spoiler.

Repair Procedure II: 
Modifying the Rear Isolator Prior to New Spoiler Installation.

When installing a new spoiler (P/N PT902-07050) with the center portion of the rear isolator gasket not removed.

NOTE:

The process of modifying the rear isolator gasket ONLY applies to P/N PT902-07050.

Repair Procedure I

Repair of Rear Isolator Gasket Coming Off of Currently Installed Spoiler.

1.

Make sure the spoiler and the surrounding area on the trunk lid are clean.

2.

Apply masking tape on the trunk lid immediately below the rear of the spoiler and on the back side of the spoiler, as shown, to protect the paint
from being scratched. Apply the masking tape along the entire length of the trunk lid and the spoiler.
