b. Using SST, disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly from the power steering gear assembly.

SST 09023-12701

c. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the pressure feed tube clamp from the power steering gear assembly.

13. REMOVE RACK & PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the 2 bolts, nuts and the power steering gear assembly.

NOTICE:  Do not turn the nut because the nut has its own stopper.

Loosen the bolt with the nut fixed.

14. REMOVE POWER STEERING RACK HOUSING HEAT INSULATOR

NOTICE:   Be careful not to damage the heat insulator.
