Check for a good choke coil ground at the rear left seat back area.

Glass Printed Antenna Inspection Procedure

1.

When cleaning the inside of the rear glass, use a soft, dry cloth and wipe the glass in the direction of the wire. Take care not to damage the wires.

2.

Do not use detergents or glass cleaners with abrasive ingredients.

3.

In order not to damage the glass printed antenna, wrap the tip of the test probe with aluminum foil as shown in the illustration when checking the
continuity of the glass printed antenna.

Check for continuity by placing and moving the test probe along the glass printed antenna.

NOTE: 

The matching module is built into the glass printed antenna (main terminal side) on Camry and there is no continuity between the terminal and the
antenna. Therefore, to check continuity of the glass printed antenna (main antenna), place one probe of the tester on the glass antenna imprint next to
the matching module (as shown in the illustration) and check by moving the other test probe along the glass antenna imprint.

Glass Printed Antenna Repair Procedure

Clean the broken wire tips with grease, wax and silicone remover.
