Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection

(Automatic A/C)

INSPECT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE

Measure resistance between terminals.

Standard resistance:

1,700 ± 85 Ohms at 25° C (77° F)

If resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
