Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Testing and Inspection
Seat Belt Buckle Switch

INSPECT SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH CONTINUITY

w/o POWER SEAT:

1. Check that there is continuity between the terminals on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).
2. Check that there is no continuity between the terminals on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).

w/ POWER SEAT:

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch ON (belt fastened).

2.

Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 2 on the switch side connector with the switch OFF (belt unfastened).

If operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt.
