Torque: 9 ft.lbf (130 kgf.cm, 13 Nm)

b. Reconnect harness.

c. Install the cruise control actuator cover, clip and bolt.

d. Reinstall and connect battery.

Check for Fluid Leaks

a. Start the engine.

b. With the engine idling and parking brake engaged, shift transmission into all positions from P to L and back to P, stopping momentarily in

each gear position.

c. Check fluid level at idle when temperature reaches 158 to 175°F (70-80°C).

d. Check for leaks from hose and tube connections.

e. Stop engine.

f.

Add new ATF type T-IV fluid (replaces DEXRON II and III).

g. Repeat steps a through f.

NOTE:

Additional Capacity with cooler will be 7 U.S. quarts (5 liters).
