Air Door Actuator / Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Manual A/C:

INSPECT AIR INLET SERVOMOTOR
Inspect the servomotor operation.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and negative (-) lead to terminal 3.
2. Check the motor arm rotates counterclockwise and arm stops on the "FRESH" position.

3. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
4. Check the motor arm rotates counterclockwise and arm stops on the "RECIRC" position.

If operations are not as specified, replace the servomotor

2. Auto A/C:

INSPECT AIR INLET SERVOMOTOR
a. Inspect the servomotor operation.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and negative (-) lead to terminal 7, then check that the arm turns to "FRESH"

side smoothly.

2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the arm turns to "RECIRC"

side smoothly.
If operations are not as specified, replace the servomotor.
