CONDITION:

Station frequency display flickers, then display becomes scrambled and the radio stops to function completely.

When the condition described above is encountered on the Cressida or Camry ETR combo radio, the cause is most likely a malfunction in the
microprocessor.

In order to correct this, the protective coating of the microprocessor IC has been made thicker to prevent cracks occurring on the surface and allowing
leakage from the transistor.

PRODUCTION EFFECTIVE:

Radios manufactured after and including the serial numbers below, have been modified at the factory.
