Checking No. 1 Cylinder To TDC/Compression Of Crankshaft

Check that No. 1 cylinder to TDC/Compression of crankshaft. Turn the crankshaft pulley and align its groove with the "0" mark on the No. 1
timing belt cover.

Align the camshaft knock pin with the matchmark on the camshaft oil retainer.

Align the knock pin with the pin hole on the timing pulley 'E' mark side as shown.
Installing Pulley Set Bolt
12.
Using SST 09278-54012 or equivalent to hold the camshaft timing pulley, install the pulley set bolt and torque to 54 Nm (40 ft lb).
