Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge system refrigerant.
2.
Remove front grille, bumper and hood lock brace.
3.
Disconnect refrigerant lines at condenser, capping all openings.
4.
Remove four condenser mounting bolts and the condenser.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, then evacuate and recharge system and check for leaks. If condenser is replaced, add 1.4-1.7 oz. of new
refrigerant oil to compressor.
