Disconnect the black wire from the igniter.

8.

Discard the igniter.

Replacement of Igniter

Replacement of Igniter

1.

Attach black wire to the igniter.

2.

Install new igniter using two new retaining screws.

3.

Install the pick-up coil (signal generator) lead wire as indicated below.

NOTE:

There are two types of terminals on pick-up coil lead wires.

4.

Insert pink and white wires into clamp as illustrated.

Twist lead wires as illustrated, then install white wire terminal first onto the pick-up coil side igniter terminal.
