Introduction

When replacing the brake pads on an ECB (Electronically Controlled Brake) system equipped vehicle, retracting the caliper's piston and installing new
brake pads may cause Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) to set the next time the brake pedal is depressed.

Use the procedure in this TSB to check for DTCs after brake pad replacement.

2004 - 2007 model year Prius vehicles.
