Installation

From 03-2006 to 10-2006

2AZ-FXE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Install a new gasket onto the engine coolant temperature sensor.
(b) Using SST, install the engine coolant temperature sensor.

SST: 09817-33190
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
5. ADD COOLANT (for Engine) See: Coolant/Testing and Inspection/Coolant (for Engine)
6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) See: Testing and Inspection/Cooling System
7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Install a new gasket onto the engine coolant temperature sensor.
(b) Using SST, install the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
