Variable Valve Timing Actuator: Service and Repair
Removal
From 03-2006 to 10-2006
2AZ-FXE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
2. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and separate the brake master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly.
3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
