Removal
From 03-2006 to 10-2006
AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement
2. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Power Control System/Service and Repair/P311 Hybrid Transaxle
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Disassembly
6. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Radiator/Removal
7. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Power Control System/Service and Repair/P311 Hybrid Vehicle
Control/Removal
8. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly from the condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly.
NOTICE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
9. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe from the condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe.
NOTICE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
10. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
