Applicability
Introduction
Some 2007 model year Camry Hybrid vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0351, P0352, P0353,
and/or P0354 (Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit) stored in the Engine Control Module/ECM (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM).
The ECM/PCM logic has been improved to prevent this condition. Use the following repair procedure to address customer concerns.
NOTE
If a damaged or inoperative ignition coil assembly is found, this service bulletin may not correct the M.I.L. "ON" condition. Refer to the Repair
Manual to diagnose and correct conditions related to a damaged or inoperative ignition coil assembly.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Hybrid Vehicle System Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 96 months or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs
first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ For California specification vehicles sold, registered, and operated in California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey,
New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, this repair is covered under the California Emission Warranty, which is in effect for 180 months or 150,000
miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
