TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

NOTICE:  Before removing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the registered transmitter IDs of all wheels and write them down to use for
re-registration of transmitter IDs  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Tire Pressure Warning System/Registration.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof

Headlining/Installation

4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (From 03-2006 to 10-2006)/Removal

5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (From 03-2006 to 10-2006)/Removal

6. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

(a) Remove the nut.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the tire pressure warning ECU.
