Removal

From 03-2006 to 10-2006

2AZ-FXE IGNITION: IGNITION COIL: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Battery, Hybrid Drive/Service

and Repair/HV Battery/Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Power Control System/Voltage

Inverter/Service and Repair/Inverter With Converter/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
4. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 4 ignition coil connectors.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coils.

4. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 4 ignition coil connectors.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coils.
