Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation
From 03-2006 to 10-2006
2AZ-FXE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.
NOTICE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it.
(b) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80in-lbf)
(c) Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Installation
5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Installation
