22. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn back the carpet.

(b) Disconnect the holder (with connectors).

NOTICE:  When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts and center airbag sensor assembly.

Installation

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that the power switch is turned off.
(b) Check that the battery negative (-) cable is disconnected.

CAUTION:  Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.
