Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair
Installation

From 03-2006 to 10-2006

TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

(a) Connect the connector to the tire pressure warning ECU.
(b) Install the tire pressure warning ECU with the nut.

Torque: 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66in-lbf)

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (From 03-2006 to 10-2006)/Installation

3. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Instrument Panel Safety Pad (From 03-2006 to 10-2006)/Installation

4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof

Headlining/Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Roof

Headlining/Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTICE:  Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REGISTER TRANSMITTER ID

9. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

10. INITIALIZE SYSTEM

NOTICE:
-

Be sure to register the transmitter IDs of all tires in the ECU before initialization.

Be sure to inflate all tires to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.
