Parts Information

Felt Locations

The shifter trim is now available as an assembly in the parts system. The new assembly includes felt added at various locations to prevent noise.
The following illustrations show the modifications to the trim assembly to improve noise condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Order a NEW shifter trim assembly (called "Housing Assembly Position Indicator" in the parts system) using the part number from the Parts

Information table of this TSB.

2. Remove and replace the old shifter trim assembly with the NEW part. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS)
